Job Description: 

AMETEK LMS is actively seeking a Process Engineer to join our Operations Team.  If you are a problem solver who enjoys working collaboratively across functions to improve processes, proactively solve issues, and create improvements in the manufacturing facility, apply today!

 

In this role you will:

  • Drive continuous improvement, utilizing lean manufacturing
  • Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and systems
  • Design, implement, and improve tooling and fixtures
  • Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Collaborate with other functions - Purchasing, Planning, Sales, Production, Quality, Vendors, and Suppliers
  • Provide technical solutions to solve manufacturing issues
  • Create engineering documentation required for SOPs, work instructions, ISO procedures, CapEx projects, etc.
  • Perform engineering tasks under limited supervision

 

Qualifications for the role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, Lean 6 Sigma is a plus
  • Knowledge of ISO
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access
  • Certified Welding Instructor is a plus
  • Knowledge of CAE tools such SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Minitab is a plus

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $85,000
Salary Maximum:  $100,000
Incentive:  No
