IT 1st Level Support Specialist

For our AMETEK CTS business unit, we are looking for an IT 1st Level Support Specialist (m / f / d) at our headquarters in Reinach BL (close to Basel, Switzerland).

Key Responsibilities of the IT 1st Level Support Specialist include:

• Receiving and handling IT issues and service requests via ticketing system
• Performing initial troubleshooting and resolution, and escalating complex issues to Second Level Support
• Assisting users with hardware and software problems
• Documenting requests and solutions in our ticketing system
• Installing and configuring workstations and peripheral devices
• Participating in IT projects and continuously improving our support processes

Position Requirements:

• Completed training in IT or a comparable qualification
• Initial experience in IT support or a similar role
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office, and network technologies
• Strong service and customer orientation, as well as excellent communication skills
• Team player, reliable, and structured work approach
• Fluent in English (mandatory), German is a plus
